Day 6 & 7 Chobe National Park – Ihaha Camp and Savuti Camp
After breakfast you leave Kubu Lodge and take the road to Chobe National Park. The next few days will be spent away from civilization. Prepare yourself for a few days of no luxury, pure fun and adventure in the bush. It is important that you do all your grocery shopping and fill all the water and petrol tanks, because you won't find anything in the coming National Parks of Botswana. When entering the park (both Chobe and Moremi), you will need to pay entrance fees of BWP 120.00 per person per day plus BWP 50.00 per day for the vehicle. You may pay in Botswana Pula, South African Rands, US Dollars and Euro's, but not with your credit card. These amounts and methods of payment apply to all parks in Botswana. Follow the detailed map of Chobe National Park. It is important to consult with other travelers along the way about the roads they have traveled. This will keep you up to date with the conditions of the road, and you will know in advance if it is necessary to take another alternative route. Stay the first night at Ihaha Camp and the second night at Savuti Rest Camp on a self- catering basis.
Day 8 & 9 Moremi Game Reserve – Khwai Camp and Xaxanaxa camp
Today you will exit Chobe National Park and enter Moremi Game Reserve. You will immediately notice the change in scenery. Follow your detailed map of Moremi Game Reserve. Day 10 Maun – Crocodile Camp
Make your way back today to civilization to stay at Crocodile Camp in Maun. You will exit Moremi Game Reserve at the South Gate and follow the road to Maun. You will stay in a double chalet on a bed and breakfast basis. Restaurant available for lunch and dinner. The campgrounds are beautifully maintained with a private swimming pool for residents. Situated on the doorstep of the Okavango Delta, it is the ideal stopover point while on safari. From Maun, you can visit the well-known nature environment of the Okavango Delta.
Day 11 Makgadikgadi Pans – Khumaga Camp
Today you will drive in the direction of the Makgadikgadi Pans, approximately 205km from Maun. Stay at the border of the park, at Khumaga camp. You will have enough time to travel around in this Park.
