Day 1 Johannesburg – Blydepoort
Today you will be driving in eastern direction, from Johannesburg to the Mpumalanga Province . You will spend the night in the roof tent of your 4x4 car in Blydepoort on the camp site of Forever Resorts Blyde Canyon . This camp site is situated in the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve . Advice to do shopping's in one of the bigger towns on your way to Blyde Canyon , since the Resort only has a small shop. Approximate distance 390 km
Day 2 Blydepoort
Today you will have the whole day in Blyde Canyon to yourselves. You can go fishing, horseback riding, hiking, 4x4 tours etc. Or drive through the highlights of the Panorama Route. Approximate distance At leisure
Day 3 Kruger National Park
After breakfast you will drive to the world famous Kruger National Park . You will have enough time throughout this day to drive over tar and dirt roads to try and spot the many wild animals, including the Big Five that live in this centuries-old reserve. Day 4 Kruger National Park
You will have another day in the Kruger National Park to explore even more areas of this enormous reserve. What you can do, is plan a route through the park for the whole day and make a nice “braai” in the afternoon. Make sure you are back at the campsite before gate closing times. Day 5 Limpopo Transfrontier Park , Mozambique
After breakfast, break up camp and travel to the Kruger National Park border crossing into the Limpopo Transfrontier Park . The Giriyondo border gate is generally not too busy and you should be able to finalize border procedures quickly. Once this is done travel to Camp Albufeira , which will be your base from which to explore the Park for the next two days. Note that there are very few shops / services in the Transfrontier Park and you should ensure that you have sufficient food, water and fuel for the next three days). Day 6 Limpopo Transfrontier Park , Mozambique
Explore the Limpopo Transfrontier Park which is home to bird rich tropical wetlands and rugged 4x4 drives. The camp site is also situated close the Massingir Dam. Approximate distance At leisure
Day 7 Bilene
Leave the rugged bush behind and travel to the Indian Ocean coast line along the towns of Chokwe, Macia and Xai Xai . From Xai Xia travel in a northerly direction to the small town of Chidenquele where your accommodation is booked for one night (room only). The lodge overlooks the azure waters of the Indian Ocean and the restaurant provides a variety of mouth-watering dishes. Approximate distance 310 km
Day 8 Inhambane
Depart from the small town of Chidenquele and return back to the EN1 continuing your northerly journey to the town of Inhambane . The area is world renowned for its amazing dive sites and beautiful reefs. Accommodation is booked at the camp site of Guinjata Bay , a short distance outside of Inhambane. Approximate distance 225 km
Day 9 & 10 Inhambane
Spend the day at leisure on the beach or enjoying one of the various water sport activities available. A tour of the local town and quad bike rides on the beach is also recommended and can be arranged at the Lodge's reception. Approximate distance At leisure
Day 11 Bilene
After breakfast, depart Inhambane and travel in a southerly direction back to the town of Bilene . Spend one night at Praia do Sol , which overlooks the calm waters of Uembje Lagoon. Accommodation on a half board basis. Approximate distance 380 km
Day 12 Malelane , South Africa
Bid a fond farewell to the beautiful Indian Ocean before travelling back to the border crossing at Rossano Garcia / Lebombo. Once you have finalized cross border formalities, travel along the N4 to the town of Malelane . Accommodation is booked at River Cottages which is situated on the Crocodile River, overlooking the Kruger National Park . Approximate distance 350 km
Day 13 Malelane
Spend the day at leisure at the Guest House, or enjoy a last visit to the Kruger National Park or even a visit to one of the traditional Swaziland villages. Approximate distance At leisure
Day 14 Johannesburg
Unfortunately your tour has come to an end today. After breakfast depart back to Johannesburg where you will return your rental vehicle
