7 DAYS DRAKENSBERG MOUNTAIN EXTENSION
Day 1 Dolphin Coast
Today collect your camper or continue your journey after the 11 day Mpumalanga tour, and drive to the Dolphin Coast north of Durban.
Day 2 Injisuthi campsite in Southern Drakensberg
Drive to and through the Drakensberg to the Injisuthi campsite. Surrounded by Cathin Peak, Monks Owl and Champagne Cattle, this park is one of the smaller ones, without the many tourists. There is a small shop for basic supplies at the camp.
Day 3 Injisuthi campsite
Today spend the whole day at Injisuthi Camp. You can relax or go fishing, swimming or go on a hike through the Drakensberg.
Day 4 Royal Natal National Park
This morning drive to one of the nicest parts of the Drakensberg, the Royal Natal National Park. Here, spend the night at the park's campsite. You will find a small shop for basic supplies and a restaurant at the campsite.
Day 5 Royal Natal National Park
Today spend the whole day in one of the most beautiful areas of Southern Africa. We recommend you go for a hike and enjoy all the magnificent views of the Drakensberg.
Day 6 Golden Gate National Park
This morning, head for the Golden Gate National Park, which features beautiful scenery of spectacular sandstone highlands unsurpassed in their variety of rock shapes and colour. Spend the night at the park's campsite.
Day 7 Johannesburg Airport
Leave the Drakensberg and drive to Johannesburg Airport to drop off your 4x4 rental and to check in for your flight back home.
