Day 1 Johannesburg – Blydepoort
Today you will be driving in eastern direction, from Johannesburg to the Mpumalanga Province . You will spend the night in the roof tent of your 4x4 car in Blydepoort on the camp site of Forever Resorts Blyde Canyon . This camp site is situated in the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve . Advice to do shopping's in one of the bigger towns on your way to Blydepoort, since the Resort only has a small shop. Approximate distance 390 km
Day 2 Blydepoort
Today you will have the whole day in Blydepoort to yourselves. You can go fishing, horseback riding, hiking, 4x4 tours etc. Or drive through the highlights of the Panorama Route . Approximate distance At leisure
Day 3 Kruger National Park
After breakfast you will drive to the world famous Kruger National Park . You will have enough time throughout this day to drive over tar and dirt roads to try and spot the many wild animals, including the Big Five that live in this centuries-old reserve. Day 4 Kruger National Park
You will have another day in the Kruger National Park to explore even more areas of this enormous reserve. What you can do, is plan a route through the park for the whole day and make a nice “braai” in the afternoon. Make sure you are back at the campsite before gate closing times. Day 5 Kruger National Park
Bring along your binoculars and camera to spot the game for the last day in the Kruger National Park . Approximate distance At leisure
Optional day 4 and 5
You can change the last two days in the Kruger National Park into a two nights stay in either Nkorho Bush Lodge or Pungwe Tented Safari Camp (safari lodges in Sabi Sands Game Reserve and Manyeleti Game Reserve.
Day 6 Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary
After breakfast you will leave the Kruger National Park in southern direction through the Malelane gate on your way to Pigg's Peak, the Swaziland border. In Swaziland you will drive via Mbabane to the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary. Approximate distance (from Malelane Gate) 230 km
Day 7 Mkuze Game Reserve
This morning you will head for the southern Swaziland border on your way to Kwazulu Natal. There are a few nice 4x4 trials to drive in Mkuze, where you will spend the night on the campsite. Approximate distance 280 km
Day 8 Mkuze Game Reserve
This day you will spend the whole day in Mkuze's reserve. You can either spend the day relaxing or drive around to explore nature and game. Approximate distance At leisure
Day 9 Cape Vidal
After a morning 4x4 drive you will head for the southern part of the St. Lucia Wetland Park , where you will camp on the Cape Vidal 's campsite. Situated in the middle of the Indian Ocean dunes. Approximate distance 180 km
Day 10 Cape Vidal
You will have another day to do whatever you like in the St. Lucia Wetland Park . Several boat tours to see crocks and hippo's, go for a swim or deep sea fishing. Approximate distance At leisure
Day 11 Dolphin Coast
Today you will drive from St Lucia to the Salt Rock Hotel & Resort, along the Dolphin Coast which is situated on the coast a mere 35 minutes from Durban. Approximate distance 240 km
Day 12 Injisuthi campsite in Southern Drakensberg
After breakfast you will drive to and through the Drakensberg to the Injisuthi campsite. Surrounded by Cathin Peak , Monks Owl and Champagne Cattle this park is one of the smaller ones, without the many tourists. There is a small shop for basic supplies at the camp. Approximate distance 305 km
Day 13 Injisuthi campsite
You will have a whole day on Injisuthi Camp to do whatever you want. You can relax or go fishing, swimming or go on a hike through the Drakensberg. Approximate distance At leisure
Day 14 Kokstad
After breakfast you will leave the Drakensberg in southern direction and drive to Kokstad. You'll be spending the night on the Stoneybrook Ranch campsite, just 12,5 kilometres out of this small village. Approximate distance 345 km
Day 15 East London
Pack up your campsite after breakfast before departing in a southernly direction, along the N2 highway, to the coastal city of East London . Accommodation is booked at the camp grounds of the Areena Riverside Resort. Approximate distance 405 km
Day 16 Addo Elephant National Park
After breakfast you will leave Areena Riverside Resort and head for the Addo Elephant National Park. You will spend the night on the Addo Elephants Campsite, where you can buy some groceries in a small shop or dine in the restaurant. Approximate distance 280 km
Day 17 Tsitsikamma National Park
From Addo Elephant Park you will drive to the south coast of South Africa to the Tsitsikamma National Park . You will camp on their campsite were you will find a restaurant and a small shop. Approximate distance 250 km
Day 18 Wilderness National Park
This morning you will head for the Wilderness National Park . a charming world of lakes, rivers, fens, estuaries and beaches which gently unfold against a backdrop of lush forest and lofty mountains. You will spend the night on the park's campsite. Approximate distance 170 km
Day 19 Oudtshoorn
After enjoying breakfast you will head for the ostrich capital of South Africa , named Oudtshoorn. Miles before you enter this city, you will see huge fields full with these funny looking big birds, who's meat is really healthy. You will stay on Oudtshoorn's campsite, near the Cango Caves . Shops and restaurants you will find in the city it selves. Approximate distance 100 km
Day 20 Winelands
This day you will be driving the last part of the world famous Garden Route , which will lead you into the winelands of South Africa . You will camp surrounded by beautiful vineyards and stunning views in the picturesque town of Swellendam. Approximate distance 275 km
Day 21 Cape Town
Today you will be taking the Route 62 to Cape Town . A city where there are a lot of things to explore. You can visit Robben Island , climb Table Mountain , Visit Cape of Good Hope and so on. You will spend the night on the Oatland's campsite in Simon's Town, overlooking False Bay . Famous for it's regular whale sighting. Approximate distance 230 km
Day 22 Cape Town
Unfortunately all good things end and so is your vacation. This morning you will still have time to go sightseeing, but in the beginning of the afternoon, you will have to return your 4x4 at the KEA Cape Town depot
